Hey, Johnny Park! Lyrics
Come and I'll take you under
This beautiful bruises colors
Everything fades in time it's true
Wish that I had another
Stab at the undercover
Was it a change in mind for you
It's impossible, I can't let it out
You'll never know, am I selling you out
Sit and I watch, your every mood
Mood
Your eyes still remind me of
Angels that hover above
Eyes that can change from blind to blue
It's impossible, I can't let it out
You'll never know, am I selling you out
Sit and I watch, your every mood
Mood

Mood
Now that I've found my reward
I'd throw it away long before
I'd share a piece of mine with you
It's impossible, I can't let it out
You'll never know, am I selling you out
Sit and I watch, your every mood

I think Johnny Park was an old friend of Dave Grohls and they lost contact or something. And why does everyone think every foo fighters song is about Kurt Cobain. Dave Grohl did have a life before Nirvana
I'll quote Dave (and wikipedia) "The lyrics to this song follow a series of different themes, as Grohl noted himself, "Oh, my God, that song's about 15 different things! The only reason why it's called 'Hey, Johnny Park!' is because when I was young, my best friend was this kid who lived across the street from me called Johnny Park and we were like brothers from the age of 5 to 12. I haven't heard from him since I was about 14 years old and I thought if I named a song after him he might call."[5] It is notable as being a rare example of a Foo Fighters song featuring synthesisers." I hope that answers your questions.
Though I may be totally wrong I believe this song is about a man battling with his good and evil sides (devil and angel) but either way this is my favorite Foo song I just think the rawness of Dave Grohl's voice and the drum solo in the intro is amazing!
ive got all 3 albums and yet i have never heard this song :S lol. anyway im going to listen to it now and then rate it.:D
@roborty So how did you like it?

I remember reading somewhere that Johnny Park was one of Dave's friends from when he was really young, and he thought if he titled the song this way, he might be able to contact him again. I wish I could remember where I read that.
This song is not about KURT COBAIN.Mr.Grohl wrote this song about an old childhood friend of his that he was trying to get in touch with.I remember reading in this one other website that Dave Grohl really missed him and wanted to talk to him so he decided to name the song after him HOPING that he'd get in touch with Dave Grohl.
But this song has nothing to do with Mr.Cobain.And neither does every other Foo Fighter song out there.I do believe Kurt had a freat influence on Dave, but I just simply refuse to believe that every Foo Fighters song is about Kurt Cobain.

about a guy who abuses his girlfriend/wife. at the beginning of the song his wife still loves him but at the end she gets away from him and hates him.
