From Here To Eternity Lyrics
She fell in love with his greasy machine
She leaned over wiped his head
kickstart clean
She'd never seen the beast before
But she left there wanting
But when she was walking on
down the road
She heard a sound that made
her heart explode
He whispered to her to get on the back
"I'll take you on a ride
from here to eternity"
Hell ain't a bad place
Hell is from here to eternity
Hell ain't a bad place
Hell is from here to eternity
She must be having one of her
crazy dreams
She'd never sat on a piece so mean
It made her feel like she's on cloud nine
She even thought she heard the
engine sigh
But like all dreams that come to an end
They took a tumble at the devil's bend
The beast and Charlotte they were
two of a kind
They'd always take the line...
from here to eternity
Hell ain't a bad place
Hell is from here to eternity
Hell ain't a bad place
Hell is from here to eternity
She leaned over wiped his head
kickstart clean
She'd never seen the beast before
But she left there wanting
But when she was walking on
down the road
She heard a sound that made

It's obivious it's about movie from here to eternity
Another underrated song. The inclusion of "Charlotte" made me wonder if it was a sub-inastallation of the Charlotte the Harlot series? I don't think it is, but I wonder why they put her name in?
It's a definite reference to Charlotte, as the line also mentions the Beast (Satan). The song compares the woman to Charlotte the Harlot, who was a well-known prostitute.
Yeah, that makes sense. A real biker song this. What with Bruce murmuring all the time about "get on your bikes" and all that.
from here to etirnity is the fourth installment in the charlotte the harlot saga, the third is hooks in you on the no prayer for the dying album, hooks inyou being about 22 acacia avenue and from here to etirnity is about charlotte getting married, and just for the record, bruce is the greatest thing that ever happened to maiden, blaze changed maiden totally, he ruined them.
ok, he didnt ruin them but he changed them alot.
the beast isn't satan... just listen to the intro of number of the beast... for example, i mean
Wow I love this song! Although, I have yet to hear a Maiden song that i DON'T love! But I have not heard anywhere near all of them since I havn't been listening to them for very long :( I really wish i had started listening to them years ago, I've missed out on so much!!

The beast is actually the guy's motorcycle, and she fell in love with it, however, I do agree that it's an installment in the Charlotte the Harlot saga.
Another great Maiden song.
Hell ain't a bad place. Hell is from here to eternity.
Hell is a terrible place. Those who go will be weeping and gnashing their teeth. Please call on Jesus to save you.
