Out In The Cold Lyrics
I'm layin' awake at night
I can't get you out of my mind
All I can hear is my heart beat
And a voice in the dark of some kind
Where are you now
The fears are comin' back to me once again
Oh, I wish you were here
Takin' good care of me
I want you
I feel as though I'm out in the cold
Out in the cold
Hear me calling
Cold
Out in the cold
Please rescue me I know it was you I hurt
I didn't mean to hurt you
So much to forgive and forget
Can't take anymore of this hurt
On no, Oh no
There's so many things I regret
Where are you now
The fears are comin' back to me once again
Oh, I wish you were here
Takin' good care of me
I want you
I feel as though I'm out in the cold
Shut me out
Out in the cold
Where are you now
Hear me calling
I need you I'm so cold
Can't you hear my heart beat
Out in the cold
Please rescue me
Give me a chance baby
There's nothing I wouldn't do to make it alright
Just for one more chance baby
I need all your lovin' tonight
Where are you now
The fears are comin' back to me once again
Oh, I wish you were here
Takin' good care of me
I want you
I feel as though I'm out in the cold
Shut me out
Out in the cold
Where are you now
Hear me calling
I need you I'm so cold
Can't you hear my heart beat
Out in the cold
Please rescue me
Why don't you rescue me
Cold
Shut me out
Out in the cold
Where are you now
Hear me calling
I need you I'm so cold
Can't you hear my heart beat
Out in the cold
Please rescue me
Why don't you rescue me
I'm so cold
Shut me out
Out in the cold
Where are you now
Hear me calling
I need you I'm so cold
Can't you hear my heart beat
Out in the cold

I can't believe no one has posted on this tune yet! This probally the best track on the Turbo album, and is the Crown Jewel on the Live! album.
I like this ballad, easily the best song in turbo.
Cowboytrev took those same exact words out of my hands. This tune is excellent. Over and over again.
i agree best song on turbo
I love this song so much, but it's weird, though. The lyrics are really depressing but the guitar riffs are something you’d hear in a power metal song. You’ve got two guitars driving these hard and fast riffs and the drumline kicking in with power and enthusiasm. The mix is unexpected, but it gives the song a particular edge to it. In my opinion, Priest did it to give the song a bitter and sardonic tone.
Priest forever!
This is classic Priest at their best. This is my fourth favourites song by them from the 1980's.
To me, this song has a strong rooted feeling and sound reminiscent of the "sad wings of destiny" LP. What the song means to me? Obviously whoever wrote it really fucked up with their significant other and is in a downward spiral of regret begging for forgiveness. Was it Rob Halford? I find that hard to believe seeings how he's a wiener bumper.
IT'S NOT A FUCKING BALLAD YOU RETARD!!!
God Lucasmv, do those driving guitars sound like a fucking ballad? Down's syndrome case much?
