originally part of Suede's "Coming Up" sessions, i honestly do not know why this song was left off the album, only to appear as a B-Side for "Trash". i think this is some of their best work.
it's about a breakup, or specifically, the courage to breakup. the central character has finally summoned all her courage to leave this (abusive?) jackass and she's riding it all the way out.

I read an interview with Brett Anderson & he said he liked the idea of doing as The Smiths had and releaqsing great songs as B-sides. Hell, My Insatiable One was a B-side! It's a lofty concept, but it doesn't seem to make much practical sense...
I think the whole idea of having great songs as b-sides was just to be a bit different. Rather than just sticking the sort of 'second best' types of songs as b-sides, they've got these incredible songs that sometimes outshine the actual a-side. I see it as sort of giving something to the fans, rather than just sticking remixes and the like on the end of a single. Maybe giving the fans another reason to buy the singles, not just out of loyalty for the band but because there are killer songs on it.
yeah i agree enola. suede were the only band whose singles i bought and yes, it's cos many of the B-sides were just as good or better than the A side track. I think my favorite example of this is We are The Pigs/Killing of a Flashboy/Whipsnade
