Feeling Good (Nina Simone cover) Lyrics
I always thought Muse's cover of this song was extremely sarcastic. I think theres a little bit of maliciousness in this song. I don't think this song is actually about generally feeling good?
absolutely. but i think nina simon's version is also very bittersweet. i love both of them. this song is definitely not about feeling good. on the contrary.

This is the first song I ever heard of muse, and i find it's the best. Muse rocks
Why did you feel the need to write that? I think everyone knows muse pwnz

The build of this song was done incredibly well. It gets you so high, emotionally, then just drops off again. So so very well-done, musically.
It is "scent of the pine", not "said I'll be fine".
A Nina Simone original so Muse cannot do it justice, but it's still good. On a personal note, this has been playing all night so I'm guessing you've made your plans for the weekend. Toss in some more Kings of Leon and the like and I'm quite sure you'll be good to go. (Just stay gone!)
Can't do it JUSTICE? Crackhead. You can say you like the original better, SURE. But to say, Muse did not do it justice, you're a f'ing tool.

@rolypolywoofwoof “Feeling good” also known as “feelin’ good”, was first performed in 1964 by Cy Grant on the UK tour. After, in 1965 when Nina Simone recorded the song for her album (put a spell on you), the song has been covered by many artists since then.

I think this is a cover version but I don't know who did the original version. Matt Bellamy decided to record this song because he wanted a song on Origin of Symmetry to be about giving someone love without wanting anything in return.
The original version of this song comes out of the musical "The Roar of the Greasepaint — The Smell of the Crowd.” People mistake Nina's Simone cover of this song to be a original but her version is actually a cover as well.

I heard that "feeling good" underlines some terrible advert in germany at the moment. I haven`t seen it myself, but it must be really arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg!
.I stayed alive on this cover last winter
Btw, just if anybody is interested the original of this song was sung by Nina Simone...
