I think the narrator met someone while she was on a vacation. He was supposed to be a "fling"/brief vacation romance, but now she is home and thinking about him. She is wondering what might have been, if they could spend more time together.
i love the go-go's sincerly. at first i was like this is a stupid song, but i totaly get it. cause when you are in a break up you just want to get away, be by yourself, just to be able to get over things, but alot of times that doesn't help. at least not for me(looking back on the past)
This is like, one of those road trip songs. Just sounds so perfect for one.
