The Green Manalishi (With the Two-Pronged Crown) Lyrics
Now when the day goes to sleep and the full moon looks
And the night is so black that the darkness cooks
And you come creeping around
Making me feel things I don't wanna do
Can't believe that you need my love so bad
Come sneaking around trying to drive me mad
Busting in all my dreams
Making me see things I don't wanna see
'Cause you're the green Manalishi with the two-pronged crown
All my trying is up, all you're bringing is down
Just takin' my love and slip away
Leaving me here trying to keep from following you
And the night is so black that the darkness cooks
And you come creeping around
Making me feel things I don't wanna do
Come sneaking around trying to drive me mad
Busting in all my dreams
Making me see things I don't wanna see
All my trying is up, all you're bringing is down
Just takin' my love and slip away
Leaving me here trying to keep from following you

as was previously said, the song was originally done by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. Green based the song off a dream he had in which he was spoke with a green dog that supposedly represented money. so the Green Manalishi is money... and the two-pronged crown is supposed to represent the devil.
the mac version is pretty cool, but the Priest version blows it away. the guitar riff is so dirty and nasty. i just recently got into Priest and i absolutely love this song.
THe riff of this song is so fuckin mean. Bang your head till your spinal cord is destroyed Bitches!!!!!!
This is the greatest Vocal demonstartion ever made, truly the best of HAlford, I havent seen anyone have that kinda control on his voice. the scream at the end was amazing (or whatever it was)
One of the most amazing live chants ever.
cover of an old fleetwood mac song (the 60s fleetwood mac with peter green, not the shitty 70s version with stevie nicks)..do some diggin and give it a listen...great stuff
Recorded when twin lead guitars guitars were in vogue - bring them back!!!
anyone know what a Manalishi is, and why it's wearing a 2-pronged crown?
Yeah, seriously, what the hell is a Manalishi?! Although, it is fun to say... Manalishi... Manalishi... Manalishi... Haha...

A demon. Or the devil.
Ripping good cut. There's no arguing with that disco drumming after the first verse.
