This is one of my favorite songs off of Rocka Rolla. I think the song is about a soldier, possibly from Vietnam and how they do horrible things, "Rape and pillage, squander all and rob" just because they were told to by "stern faced leaders."
one of my favourites too... i think it's about any soldier, not just the vietnam ones, it's valid for all those who satisfy their killing instincts in the name of patriotism.
It is clearly about nazi soldiers of WWII.
Its about nazi germany "arm raise, "Bird" (nazi eagle). Absolutelly nothing with Vietnam!
