Wasted Lyrics
I was so wasted
I was a hippie
I was a burnout
I was a dropout
I was out of my head
I was a surfer
I had skateboard
I was so heavy, man
I lived on the strand
I was so wasted
I was so fucked up
I was so macked up
I was so screwed up
I was out of my head
I was so jacked up
I was so drugged up
I was so nebbed out
I was out of my head
I was so wasted
I was wasted
I was a hippie
I was a burnout
I was a dropout
I was out of my head
I was a surfer
I had skateboard
I was so heavy, man
I lived on the strand
I was so macked up
I was so screwed up
I was out of my head
I was so jacked up
I was so drugged up
I was so nebbed out
I was out of my head
I was wasted

I believe he was wasted...
lol i love how people like bag of cats put so much thought into these songs there pretty much self explanatory theres no hidden meaning behind it
my anthem :)
henry didn't write this song, it was recorded several times long before he joined the band. the lyrics were written by keith morris (who also used them later in the circle jerks.) considering his drug and alcohol use over the years i don't think he's being anything but literal.
They have made a lot of songs poking fun of drink drugs and fads etc but yeah this one is definatly literal.
thats kinda of wasted
This is definitely Black Flag laughing at surfer jocks. Also, Ginn wrote the lyrics, not Keith or Henry.
i dont know if thats what he actually means. i am under the impression that he is mocking. he is mocking how people do things, and label themselves because they think its cool. and because they label themselves, they do things like fuck themselves up as much as possible. and to him thats not cool. i mean if henry IS bragging about how fucked up he was, why would he have made the song drinking and driving?
