This "song" is called "Wet My Bed", not "Wet My Eyes"
and at the end, you can make out someone saying: "alright, now what?"
and at the end you can hear someone saying: "alright, now what?"

I don't think the meaning of this song is overly deep...
The music is trippy, and it sounds like he's pretty stoned. He got ready for Mary to come over and spend the night and she's missing. She's probably off somewhere too messed up on drugs to move--->"check the bathroom"
At the end he's just too messed up to comprehend what's going on.
Obvious reference here---> "water cleanses" talking about baptism.
I think he was high when he wrote/recorded this song. It's pretty obvious when you hear it and read the lyrics.
Dude was on the horse...I love this track.
I think he's imitating someone who's high, but he didn't do drugs until after this CD. And I think Mary is his future wife's name, which is weird.
Why do I know these things?
well he didnt do heroin til after the album, but i think he did a lot of psychedelic drugs in his youth, and he had a drinking problem. and yeah his ex-wife is mary forsberg, i always thought that was weird
