All Neon Like

I remember an interview she did on the radio all these years back. She was talking to him about some stuff and then she spurted out:"It's like a web, you all, all woven like a cocoon" That's paraphrasing, by the way, but I felt then and there that it was a wonderful streak of imagination, in seeing the cosmos as a string of webs.

I'm quite attached to this song because I was recovering from a serious accident when it was released. "Nourish your turtlehearts" was a source of strength for me back then. Of course, hearing a gorgeous voice candidly whispering:"I'll heal you" held special meaning. "I'll cut a slit open", yes that's nice too, as a compliment to that scar I received for my hospitalization, as scar which, for anyone not asking the question, looks roughly like Iceland. That's right, I've been carrying Iceland for ten years now.

I am also fond of the words "and they will assist us/cause we're asking for help". I feel the world is filled with generous souls, yet that energy has so few channels.

OH MY GOD, NO ONE HAS COMMENTED ON THIS SONG. One of the most powerful and mesmerizing songs ever to be written and produced, A.N.L. is an angel incarnate, and really isn't appreciated unless you see the performance she gives on Live at Cambridge dvd.

Damn this girl is deep. I didn't discover this song till I was a true Bjork fan and when I did I was amazed by it and that Bjork truly makes great music. Even her less popular songs have a great meaning (like all her music). I feel this song is about her giving to her lover and both of them asking God (the universe) for help. Also a very rhythmic song..

Great song! Its seems that she wants to engraved her love into this person even after he dies.

I dreaded this song when I first heard it (along with 5 Years, which is now a favorite), but when I forgot to switch from Bachelorette to Immature, this song started playing and it grew on me. I feel as if Bjork is giving aid/assistance of some kind. It's as if she is some kind of maternal goddess.

Most of Bjork's songs are like shamanics prayers. This is a perfect example of this. She will be heavenly forces when the protect of them are on her. The shamanism teaches that similar energy will be found. She, to marvelous web, seeks to bring on himself all the good things in the universe. And this web glows like neon.)This web, like cocon, protect you how like a baby in the womb of her mother.The meaning of this music is protected and self-healing. Bjork is a kind of religion.
