It seems to be about a girl brought up in a rich family. By growing up in such a lifestyle, she's been sheltered from how the world really is, thus she's "living in and out of tune" and is losing her "vitamin C."
That's the best I could come up with.
@timothyreal I agree but wanted to add I think that she's "losing her vitamin c" is a cool way of saying she's basically lost at sea. (Love that in responding to something from 8 years ago.)

To me the girl was brought up in a rich family, doesnt know about reality cos she is not familiar with the other side of the coin. Shes getting increasingly ill (you're losing your Vitamin C) and instead of buying Vitamin C which is much cheaper than all the other things she possesses, she rolls in money.
