i think its about watching someone who you love fall apart... but thats the beauty of john's lyrics. They can be interpreted in a way thats hits you close to your heart.

wow im almost crying here but thats prob cuz i have just after seeing that happen to me. someone close died here it might be somthing to do with johnny ramone

why johnny ramone? he sucked, I mean he was a member of the NRA and a Republican. Why should John Frusciante write a song about someone like that?

i think there is a little bit of feeling lonely, in this song, and also some anger, and bitterness, but I don't think it is necessarily about those feelings. i think it's about drifting away from who you really are, and becoming something you didn't expect, or want to become.

Johnny Ramone died in 2004, but this song was released in 1994.
