Trying to get money rush I beleive these words are the most powerful in the song. Everyone is obessed with money, and I love ow chris martin, guy, will, and jonny can bring forth the BEST music in History

    I love this song. Isn't it about how we're all rushing to get done with our duties so we can be rich and be in what we think is paradise...when the only place we're really going is nowhere.

    I agree with Agatha, in my opinion it's about people being obsessed by money and greed living for superficial things. Chris Martins vocals are amazing on this song, love it! :p

    Great song, too bad ALL the songs from the Blue Room EP didn't end up on the Parachutes album. It's a critique on society and the somewhat useless spiral of living that keeps getting back to the same point: making money, working, making money, working. I totally agree with 'whoever', it's like the whole song has been pushing towards the outburst.

    A good pair with bigger stronger. Basically complainging about the mechanical materialism of modern society...and how all we want is things and money. Great climax...pretty good song.
