There's a dual meaning of course... "big girls" doesn't have to mean fat girls.
It also can mean older women. As in "You're a big girl now." Opposite of a little girl.
I mean we put a lot of emphasis on youth and the nubile beauty of young girls, but young girls are fickle and don't know who they are or what they want. Older women know what they want and who they are and are comfortable with it. They make better companions.

I could not agree more. I think of this song as a long overdue praise of the Wife/Mother role that our society under-appreciates because neither calling earns money (per se). A true homemaker is one whose job is invaluable and therefore not transferable (i.e. farmed out to the lowest bidder).

Every time I listen to this song, I hear Oasis. The songwriting style and the singing style are so reminiscent of the Gallagher brothers, I would have sworn it was a cover version of an Oasis song I've never heard before. Is it just me?

I can name a lest a few that have "sex" or "sexy". In "Get On Your Boots", "...Get on your boots/Your sexy boots" and "A man and a wonman," "For love and sex and fear and all the things that keep us here." In both songs I think that "sex" and "sexy" are used respectfully to support woman not to use them.
