I believe it's about LSD. The "bus taking me back again" is a reference to an acid flashback.
Great song can't help but feel good when listening to it.
What a fantastic tune - simply puts me straight back in Uni in 1993. In a bad mood this song will pick up up in the first 5 seconds. Great great great underrated band!

i dont think the bus refers to flashbacks though - that happens much later ;-) is more like a self-referential circumpoint in a trip where your brain keeps going round in circles - like when you cant sleep during teh night, , , why am i awake at 6.30am, , , i noes, lets play twisterella,,,

It's about their trips from OX4 to London on the bus and reminiscing about good times there. Acid trips might have been part of those bus trips!
