uhh he likes some girl...she's not aware of it maybe (?). it goes through the season...ya i dunno.
he likes a girl, she'll be gone by winter, hes trying to think optimistically about her, yet he thinks he has no chance so it's "only in dreams"
This is a really sweet song...he's thinking about a girl, and he wants to take a chance with her before its too late, I think thats what he means when he says I've got to get out doors while the weathers still clear. I think the whole weather/seasons thing is just a metaphor for the girl and her and his relationship...

I think this song is about a boy and a girl, duh. I think the weather thing is a metaphor like Natalie said. But maybe they're already in a relashionship?
I also think that it could be about a summer fling and they both really like each other but she has to go away after summer. Both are just wild guesses.
i think that the "good weather" thing has to do with his chance at making a relationship with the girl, maaaybe not necessarily the actual weather. or maybe he thinks that the with good weather, he has more of a chance to impress a girl a la starlight
