this song to me means searching for a place where you're welcome, and not finding it at all. You can't go home but you can't find a place to be yourself where you can be content.
i love this song, especially the version Steve Conte does. it's the one on the first OST disc. Mai Yamane does the one that plays during Ballad of Fallen Angels.

As a few of you have said, this is not exactly a moody song. To me, it means not being happy with your own life, and to stop caring for it at all.
