What Makes You Think You're The One Lyrics
What makes you think you're the one
Who can laugh without cryin'?
What makes you think you're the one
Who can live without dyin'?
Every little bit
Is there
To see
Every little bit
Of you
And me
What makes you think I'm the one
Who'll be there when you're callin'?
What makes you think I'm the one
Who will catch you when you're fallin'?
Every little bit
Is there
To see
Every little bit
Of you
And me
What makes you think I'm the one
Who will love you forever?
Everything you do has been done
And this won't last forever
Every little bit
Is there
To see
Every little bit
Of you
And me
Who can laugh without cryin'?
What makes you think you're the one
Who can live without dyin'?
Every little bit
Is there
To see
Every little bit
Of you
And me
Who'll be there when you're callin'?
What makes you think I'm the one
Who will catch you when you're fallin'?
Every little bit
Is there
To see
Every little bit
Of you
And me
Who will love you forever?
Everything you do has been done
And this won't last forever
Every little bit
Is there
To see
Every little bit
Of you
And me

Yes, excellent drums.
when two people interact,
they learn from each other and the harmony of the interaction
they take that with them
WHHAAATTTT??? No comments?? I LOVE this song. The drum beats speak for the song, passionate and angry, love it..
Great song, if you've ever been burned bad, you can relate to every single word in it.
Greg Dulli covered it with The Twilight Singers, as a point of interest.
Totaly feeling this song right now. It's funny how sometimes people expect you to be there no matter what. Sometimes things cannot be undone.
Keeping perspective is better than "believing your own P.R."
Everyone (or at least a part of us all -- the immature child within) wants a life where their behavior has no consequences. Saying that sounds silly but we behave like it all too often.
What goes around comes around.
"If you enjoy riding the sled down the snow-covered hill, then you must also enjoy pulling the sled back to the top!"
Then there is the elite. Those (of "both" political leanings) in our capitol cities who govern but are exempt from the laws they enact. Their behaviour is intended to maintain the status quo, continue their corruption and deception, become rich and never answer for their waste fraud and abuse.
Last but not least, there is the distinct possibility that lack of accountability may continue for a time, but then (in the afterlife) we have to answer for our life choices.
I think this song is about falling in love and still thinking of the expectations you put on another person without meaning to but both people do this whether u admit or at not. Bc when it’s falling that way we’re sending signals to each other that we’re doing that… “every little bit of you and me” are doing that. It’s beautiful and optimistic and pessimisstic at the same time. Sometimes it works if both people are ready and knowing and sometimes it doesnt
It's one of Lindsey's many missives to Stevie Nicks, telling her she lives in the clouds, and that no one can live without consequences.
