I think it's about his girlfriend leaving him for some reason he's not exactly sure of. She won't answer his calls, or call him back, she just leaves him in the dark. When it says "Seems like a thousand years Since we broke the ties" its saying time goes by so slow since she left. He's confused and tired of her bullshit. He's not gonna take it anymore. he's not her fool. Thats how i see it. the same thing is currently happening to me, and thats exactly how i took it.

This is a great song about being used and abused by your lover and silently taking all those (abuses). But someday, you realize you have had enough and try to break up.. Great Cinderella song.. On par with Heart Break Station

First ever concert I went to - Cinderella opening for David Lee Roth. Will never forget the lights going down for the beginning of this song... omg they kicked ass.

This song is more about giving a chick a boot out the door, not losing her, and certainly not about trying to get her back! LOL No idea where you get that idea. Its clearly about being fed up with someone's bullshit, and though you've put up with it for awhile, you no longer are willing to do so anymore, and about finally getting the courage to tell them to fuck off.
