Been Insane Lyrics

I've been insane well the time is slow
The Pope don't matter when the pawn
Is your sea
Don't you agree?
When you're around I'm wound
Around your thumb
You wanna be numb
Inside the gun

I've been in pain hope it doesn't show
I've been insane well the time is slow
Don't you want sunshine instead of phony lights?
All your billboards in lights
Are one big fight
Against the baby inside
That you've mistaken for pain

i think that this song is spilt in 2 as the 1st part is talking about life as in death things and the 2nd part is more about what people do in life and how they have ruined it but there will always be around it. ahh now they connect it must have to be written down before you get it.

that song and your pussy\'s glued to a building on fire , they all have parts from his song mascara right? why did he make them in to different songs? i think that\'s pretty cool

anyway.. this song talks about life in general.. 2nd part, \"don\'t you want sunshine instead of phony lights?\" basically means; don\'t you want the real thing instead of a copy? and the rest; all your big ideas and your illusions are a fight against the feelings that you\'re trying to avoid because you think that facing them will hurt you.. or something along the lines of that.

I have always thought the lyrics were 'the pulp don't matter when the pulp, is your seed'.... even if those lyrics are wrong, that's how i will always think of this song

The choruses are quite clear:

"You wanna be numb Inside the gun"

(Talks about killing himself)

All your billboards in lights Are one big fight Against the baby inside That you've mistaken for pain

(The internal fight that fame brought him)

Don't you want sunshine instead of phony lights?

(He's tired of fame and all those fake people it brings)
