Hot Hot Heat are from Victoria, BC in Canada. Victoria is a touristy town with several cheesy attrations such as the Wax Museum, the Undersea Gardens (exlore a coral reef 3 m under the water in our inner harbor!) and Miniture World. Every year around March, there is a week long event called "Be A Tourist in Your Own Town" in which these attractions allow locals in for a reduced rate. This is where I believe Hot Hot Heat got the song title from.
