No Fear Lyrics

There's a storm coming
But there will be no rain
Bringing clouds of anger
From a thousand years of pain

For some of us there is no shelter
From the change in the weather
It will find you wherever you run
So if you're down for what's right
There's no reason to hide
For you there is no fear
People dying and crying
The sound of shattered dreams
Drowning the voice of the future
With negativity

For some of us there is no answer
To the change in the weather
Cloud's will cover the sun
So if you're down for what's right
There is no reason to run
For you there is no fear

Run Run Run Run
But you can't hide
Run Run Run Run
But you can't hide
From the storm

Lightning from the sky
Will strike you down
I have no fear
I have no fear

There's a hurt coming
But who will feel the pain
And the tears of sadness
Falling down like rain

Run Run Run Run
But you can't hide
Run Run Run Run
But you can't hide
From the storm

Lightning from the sky
Will strike you down
I have no fear
I have no fear

There's a storm coming
But there will be no rain

I think it about a war...

Pretty obviously, this is about keeping faith, in the face of all desolation. supposing god has figured out a big masterplan for us in the end. dunno too much about that...

BUT anyway this is uplifting and enstrenghts something even for a nihilist unholy guy such as I. :)

I think it's about karma. You can't run away from (your) bad karma.

My Interpretation

Think it's about ending racism and racial injustice. 'So if youre down for whats right', perhaps you're just wearing a Fishbone 'Fuck Racism' t-shirt, regardless of whether Kensington Police think it's an obscenity and prosecutable offence to wear in public. "Down for what's right" to me, has nothing to do with god (as that's fiction), and Fishbone inclusive of everyone, religious or not. Down for what's right is believing in racial equality.
