Well this is one big orgy with the entire cast...

Angel's solo is his last part in the show, and when Collin's says "It's Over" he basically means that him and Angel are technically over, but not because they broke up, but Angel has died.

They had to cut this out of the movie, because if they used it, it would have been rated R. But in the movie, they made Angel's death so sad... I like the Broadway way of how Angel died, it wasn't dragged on.

one of the saddest songs especiial when collins says "its over" i cant stand that but no matter how sexual it is there is a very dep metaphor and it reminds me of AVENUE Q!

the metaphor which i somehoe i dint get to but the fact tha they are all "consumating" their relationships beceuase they all think theya re in "LOVE" but then it doesnt turn out the way they wanted and everything falls apart...without the latex rubbers! ;) and yea i hvnt seen the broadway version bu thsi time in the movie was so dramatic i think it was quite effective

Well think about it, this is right before the funeral (obviously) but at the funeral they're all seperated, i've only seen teh movie and a very bad film of the play, so i didn't understand this, but hearing it and seeing the lyrics, it makes sense. This is everyones dream, their vision so to say, of what they want, then at the end, everyone breaks up, But the last line, Collins' It's Over sounds so sad, it shows that he didn't want it to be over

Roger, Where did what go? =D

i think this song kind of sums up all their relationships from the beginning up to when angel died. for instance, at the beginning of the song everyone is cooperative, i'm not sure if that is the right word, well, at thebeginning everyone is 'getting along well' and after angel's solo [which i kinda think signifies her death] everyone is leaving and breaking up. that's how i take this song, lots of people i know always say it's so offtrack from the play and unneeded, but i think it was a creative metaphor-y way to display the change in reltionships.

This song is great. It expresses the horrors and disappointments that may come from unprotected sex. I can't stop listening to it! It's spoken word at it's finest. Also, it would be really cool to hear Angel's part [starting with 'take me ... 'sung as a dance remix, don'tcha think?
