A friend of mine introduced me to Mewithoutyou recently. I'm not much of a fan of hardcore/screamo music, but for some reason, this song spoke to me.
I love the emotion he puts in his voice, when he screams "you know it's me!" he's almost pleading, and when he says "it'll be alright," it's as if he's telling himself that, but questioning it at the same time. And yeah, its powerfull when he says "You'd better be alone"
wow i just read this whole thread and no one bothered to point out that its about aaron stalking amanda.he openly admits it when you catch him on an honest day. as far as the autism thing goes, ive never heard one way or another. i can tell you amazing stories about his strange behavior but who knows. maybe is aspergers. or maybe its aaron. either way its a gift.

this band... i dont even know where to begin... the music is so good, and the lyrics, are probably the best i have ever had the pleasure of reading. I first saw this band when i played a show with them, and i was hooked... this song is the reason i was hooked too... after the show i just asked "what album has tat one song on it, where you say you better be alone" this song is just so full of emotion i wouldnt know where to start.
