makes me think that the person is done with the moping around b/c of the rejection and just wants to be happy again, hence the whole "the life i knew",like their previous life before the shit hit the fan. they realize life is way to short to sit around and dwell and you just gotta move on and it's worth it, b/c "it's good to be back"

i just love this song. it makes me just want to say FUCK YOU to anyone who put me down. just the ending is awesome "hello....it's good to be back"

Yeah so I actually just picked up the CD "What's the Story Morning Glory" a couple of weeks ago. It's delicious. When I first heard this, I was sort of falling asleep, it was late at night, and at first, I thought it was Wonderwall. When the wavy guitar came in, it scared the shit out of me. Good song though.

I instantly loved this song, i heard it once and i adored it. Whats the story morning glory is the greatest album ever made. I dont care what people say. Some might say, dont look back in anger, wonderwall, champagne supernova and hello are amazing!!!!!!!

I totally agree with Seimiko. And here I am, reviewing. (yay!) Although this song seems sort of pop-driven and meaningless it holds some of the BEST LYRICS ever.

Whenever i think about how life is moving to fast, and how you never have enough time and that years just go by before you even have time to look around and take in what you see (wow, that was a looooong sentence!) I think of this song. And that's exactly what Noel Gallaghar had in mind when he was writing this song.

Heard somewhere Noel changed Gary Glitter's version as to not be associated with him? Seems stupid? Can anyone confirm this?

Quality that like, agree with "a contradiction", makes me want to say a big fuck off to me ex-girl friend. Its as if youve been really let down/pissed off with your ex and they know theyve pissed you off and upset you, well now your back and your gonna raise a little hell.
