I had this album on cassette when it came out in 1993 ( i was 10 yrs old)
I turn 28 in 3 weeks, and literally JUST FIGURED OUT YESTERDAY what U.M.F. stands for.
I think this song is about Duran Duran's relationship with the media and the public. What's funny is that with this album, they finally made that connection again.
What does UMF mean? They sing it as backup in the chorus too..did they just make it up?
