This is punk rock at it's finest. It's possibly my favorite punk song from my favorite punk album. Actually, it's just one of my favorite songs EVER. Top 10, I would say. You've got a massive chorus, verses about a freakin amoeba (almost nothing), and two - that's right - TWO awesome guitar solos. I go crazy when I listen to this song!
I think this song is about a lot more than just an amoeba. It's an allegory. Think of the scientists as being elitist conformists and listen to it again.
Wow, you guys couldn't be more off, but I guess it's a tribute to the intellect in this band. Think about what an Amoeba is. An amoeba is an organism that serves a very small role on the planet. It doesn't care about it's surroundings, isn't in competition with other organisms for it's survival, reproduces with itself, and they live most of their lives outside of the mainstream ecosystem's influence(as it can adapt to almost every situation). Some even speculate that amoebas may not have originated on planet earth.

Are you sure? I think you're wrong. It sounds like there's an added count in between you and science....and I'm pretty sure it sounds like the word stupid. so...you should check that out.
Punkpirate has to be right. I would be very suprised if it werent an allegory. Think about the amoeba as us... and the scientists, well conformists like punkpirate said. If that isnt the exact idea they were going for, it shouldnt be far off.
