You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet

I've heard this song countless time in my life. I always thought "You ain't seen nothin' yet" meant she was going to blow him away with loving like he's never had.

No, she means she's going to destroy him and break his heart in a way he's never experienced. "You think you've been hurt before? You ain't seen nothin' yet."

And he sees himself as a willing victim. He also thinks any love is good love and he deserve what he gets.

I just never realized what a scorching song this is.

I've been hearing this song on the classic rock stations alot recently, and it suddenly dawned on me why. It's prophetic - it fits Jodi Arias and Travis Alexender to a T. "I (Travis) met a devil woman (Jodi)." Jodi - brown eyes, breast implants. He took what he could get, and she "took his heart away" (stabbed him in the heart) "here's somthing .. you're never gonna forget" - she brutally kills him.

I love this song! For me, it talks about the "forbidden fruit", the seemingly "bad investment".

It is when you meet someone who is clearly bad for you but you go for it anyway.

You go for it not out of naivety, but because you find value in any form of romantic experience. Or at least that's what you think.

The chorus demonstrates that, despite your good will and effort to keep your shit together, and as hard as things seem with a person who is unfit to be beside you, you have absolutely no clue of how ugly, even traumatizing, things can get towards the inevitable end.

Still so, Randy Bachman thinks it's worth it. Because in life you need to see things and go places. So bring it on! You hit hard while I build character!

This band is my hometown heros. Even though they were just a one hit wonder, being able to say I can go to Bachman mansion anytime I want to is pretty awesome, and I love this song.

bit late, but they aren't one hit wonders... if you knew the band well you would know that this song and TCOB were hits (pleeze tell me you know what TCOB stands for)

tcob= takin care of business. i was watching VH1 one hit wonders and this song came on and they said it was a mistake and it was never supposed to release becuz it was just the singer makin fun of his little brother (if i remember this right) becuz his little brother stuttered. yea, its really catchy, i agree. it reminds my of- mc hammer- u cant touch this. cuz its one of those lines that u just say to people no matter what. like "Well, YOU AINT SEEN NOTHING YET." u know how every once in a while somebody will be bragging and saying "CAN'T TOUCH THIS." thats what it reminds me of.

ummm, this song's not incredibly hard to understand, it's about a guy....and a girl....oooh, oooh, mmhh...you get the picture.
