I guess it's about sexual abuse: "a house were secrets go untold" and "when your daddy loves you a little too much". It makes the child hide away in dreams and run away. I'd say: Go Girl...
I think this song is about a girl probably growing up in a poor household, but in a close family, and everyone thought they would probably live and die in that small town, but this girl wanted to get away and go to california..the "place where peiple chase their dreams..
this is my song. as soon as im 18, im out of this town, and im leaving for california.
pretty much on jenna. and tugit, interesting thought. at first i laughed but its believable. but i like to think that it just means she was a "daddy's girl".
