I can't believe no one has commented on this song. It's probably one of Kenny's best songs. Highly recommend it. Pretty obvious by the lyrics what it's about... How at the time everything seems so great and perfect and even though you look back and miss those days you know that one day you'll do the exact same thing to the present day down the road.

To me the first 8 lines are most powerful: I just quited to take part in competitions and i really miss the adrenalin. I know I made the right choice, but I'll never feel like that again - being on the starting line and waiting for that shot...
I agree with tugit. The opening verse of this song always reminds me of my senior year of high school football. All the memories...the wins, the losses, and the heartbreaking end to it all.
