inn has a point, and also i think that when alot of songs criticize jesus they realy strike at all of christianity, because the church is the real villan, jesus is dead he cant hurt us as a zombie, the church on the other hand is an everpresent threat, and i think that this song makes that point. that organized religion is a snake that must be beheaded if the world hopes to progress.

Other than that it's a good song. I agree with damien, though. It seems to be all about the lie that religion is and how nobody really knows for sure what it's from. Think about it. All the original scrolls were lost for hundreds of years before they were found and rewritten into the bible. Who's to say people haven't added to or taken from in those intervening years. Religion is shit.

I think this song is just Glenn mocking Jesus and the way he died...But I'm not sure at all. I'd love someone to prove me wrong...I hate the message that this song appears to be giving.

This song is indeed just a calling attention to the contemporary perverion of christs original teachings. This songs is saying that jesus was raped by the mass mentality for their own good, which goes to prove that jesus was just a man. And by the way Satanism has gotten a bad rap, REAL satanists don't do all that cheesy sell-out candlight sacrifice bullshit. Satanism is really Buddhism, with the twist on following outward felings to their fullest extent. Real satanism is a an intellectual version of hedonism and nialism - an experiment of the mind, and totally natural. We are all satanic. There is no heaven or hell. There may be a god but it does not concern itself with the musings of mankind.
