Kirks message in this song relates to what King Solomon learned. He done it all. All of the secular, wordly pleasures. Hereims of women. Drink. etc. All of this was emptiness and lead him to nothing. "Can't find what I'm after". He had a longing for something and it turned out to be spiritual. Having everything one could want will not constitute happiness. Brad Pitt takes endorphine pills. In order to be content one must have Jesus Christ. The title of this song is refrence to this. "Reborn Thru Me" We are reborn through Christ and our lives have true purpose - no longer are we slaves ot the dying, tired and empty. There is light.
