I always felt it would be more appropriate for the lyrics to be, "Now that the world is ending, its love that I'm sending to you. It's the love of a hero, and that's why I fear it wont do."

I think that would have captured what is is to really be a hero. They put their loved ones at a distance to keep them safe from their secret lives and in the end it seems like they're avoiding everyone when in reality they've given up everything for their love. So even a hero's love isn't enough for them to be happy.

Even with all this chaos in their lives they can't stand by and just be the person their loved one's wish they had, because they would always be in danger if someone wasn't out there stopping all the violence that eventually ends up on your doorstep.

Or that's just how I see it. The other way just sounds iffy.

I think that the song means that if you wait your whole life waiting for someone to save you your going be waiting for awhile. i also think that the song means that you have to be your hero and save your self.you have to soar above all the blood-shed and pain and find a place where you can be your own hero. but that's just me

SPIDER MAN RULES!! how can you not want to see it? oh welll to eachits own, right? i think this song mean that this guyhas got himself so far in love and life that he doesnt need anyone to show him the way to do things. or that hes in trouble with something, and other people would look for help in other people or things.....OR that the world has this whole fake, mythological way of believing things, and that he sees the truth

It is about a man that lives in a world that is filled with violence and killing. Everyone says that love will save us. It's not happening though. He is told that a hero will save us. He's not going to wait...he'll be that hero.. He becomes the hero...the world is safe....he is sending true love out to her. It isn't the same love that everyone has always known...so will it be good enough?

Or it could just be for the movie and he's a loser gone superhero so he's no longer gonna be a spectator, he's gonna go fight bad guys and save the day. He saves the day and she has fallen in love with "spider man"...not him...he loves her but doesnt think that she will love him for him and not spidey.

The movie wasnt that great in my opinion. It was alright.. the end wasnt all too beliavable, i thought.

As for the song, "Someone told me love will all save us. But how can that be, look what love gave us. A world full of killing, and blood-spilling That world never came." Think those are the good lines... the others are okay. Like the singer's voice though.

I love this song, I seriously think it's incredible. It's very soothing to listen to. The best part about this song are the lyrics. They're just...incredibly written. Also, umm Michelle, I just wanted to tell you to shut-up. Because like, he only said he's not interested in watching it, who the fck are you to say so otherwise? Also, umm WrigGalo, like I don't see the difference. Me and my friend think this songs telling us that we cannot just depend on a hero to save us, we have to do something about all these problems. there's this guy who is thinking about commiting suicide and he's talking about how heaven can't hear him and how people say that they'll be saved by love or by some unnamed hero but it's not happening and he's tired of wating for some resolution that won't come and in the end he's talking to someone he loves and sends them his love even tho he doesn't think it will help them. and that was one long run on sentence but too bad.and i don't see the diff with the lyrics either, so if someone could point it out...
