yeah, kris played at the roxy singing that song and i wish i remembered the title. recording is finishing up soon enough, untiul then get the re-mix/re-release of "anywhere but here" including the unrealeased track "Anderson"
once this is recorded it will probably go down as probably one of thier best. Kris`s best song so he says. About him growing up without his father obviously...I can relate to this...same thing happened at one time with me...it all was good in the end though.
Just to correct dave_ddc, the upcoming album will be named 'So long, Astoria' for anyone who doesn't know already. This song actually mixes two similar problems that Kris has known in his life - his father not being around when he was growing up, and himself not being around whilst his daughter is growing up. Kris once said in a live concert that this is the best song he has ever written, but I think he knows he has written better songs, San Dimas for example, but he just feels so strongly about the message of this song, that he would like to think that it is the best song he has ever written. All in all it's a great song and I can't wait to hear the studio version when the album comes out. Rock on Ataris!

But hey "all in vain" San Dimas was not Kris' best stuff. Looking back on today is one of his best song I think.
