this song makes me happy in that most of the songs i hear by whisketown/ryan adams are sad lost love songs. This song makes me glad to have someone special and not ask questions about it. Just to know things are good and that someone is there for you and you dont want to let go or "say goodbye"

I love this song... I love the female background vocals in it.. I believe Ryan Adams said this about the song: "That's actually the answer to a song that was written about me called 'You Never Say Goodbye' by an artist who will remain unnamed." but I have never been able to find that song or figure out who it is about... Love it.. great tune...
