I know what you mean, it reminds me of some one I know that I am not even dating and I dont even know why other than it sounds like something he would like. Yeah I love the piano and violins but well I play both so I guess I am biased!
This song reminds me of my ex boyfriend. Reading it now I wonder why cos it doesn't sum up our relationship at all, but I think it was just that I was listening to it at the time. The best bit of this song is the violins in the background of the chorus - beautiful.
To me this song talks about all the heartaches and breakups a single person goes through. We love the freedom and adventure but the good sometimes comes with the bad. Once that special person comes in our lives, life tends to be brighter and cheerful. Hence, "even the nights get better." We sleep more soundly knowing that our love given is equally returned. After I found my wife, I can always go back to this song and sing it her because that's what she brought to my world :D
I didn't expect to hear a falsetto part in the main chorus.
