In Loving Memory... (of Ron Jazzy) Lyrics
just to the edge of the lake i'm walking you back
watching you throw yourself to the windy city again, once again my friend
and i just have to let you go away again
i'm not so good at goodbyes, so we'll leave it at "see you soon"
i know that we can see this through
with decision taking hold, throwing a fork in the open road
you can't turn it away,
and i just have to let you go away again
i'm not so good at goodbyes, so we'll leave it at "see you soon"
i know that we can see this through
it's a memory of the way we had it
watching you throw yourself to the windy city again, once again my friend
and i just have to let you go away again
i'm not so good at goodbyes, so we'll leave it at "see you soon"
i know that we can see this through
you can't turn it away,
and i just have to let you go away again
i'm not so good at goodbyes, so we'll leave it at "see you soon"
i know that we can see this through

This song makes me cry. When i first heard it i didnt understand what the lyrics were but now that i see them written out i see the emotion in every word he sings. This is a song that hits home- and one that makes you wonder it anything is really goodbye.
