Dress You Up Lyrics
You've got style, that's what all the girls say
Satin sheets and luxuries so fine
All your suits are custom made in London
But I've got something that you'll really like
Chorus:
Gonna dress you up in my love
All over, all over
Gonna dress you up in my love
All over your body
Feel the silky touch of my caresses
They will keep you looking so brand new
Let me cover you with velvet kisses
I'll create a look that's made for you
(chorus)
Gonna dress you up in my love, in my love
All over your body, all over your body
In my love
All over, all over
From your head down to your toes
Satin sheets and luxuries so fine
All your suits are custom made in London
But I've got something that you'll really like
All over, all over
Gonna dress you up in my love
All over your body
They will keep you looking so brand new
Let me cover you with velvet kisses
I'll create a look that's made for you
All over your body, all over your body
In my love
All over, all over
From your head down to your toes

A senator's daughter wrote it. She was talking about her father.
Simply put, this song is about screwing. Dress you up in my love means cover you with my body.
I thought she meant she was going to literally dress up some handsome but homeless bum to make him presentable enough to take her out. That would have made a great video.
I can't believe no one has commented on this! I love this song! It reminds me of when I was little. Back in the good old 80's.
i find this song wildly entertaining, and i don't even like madonna. for some reason i am just insanely attracted to this song. but maybe it's because Alex from Phantom Planet sang it in a Gap commercial. Either way it's damn cool.
That was him? Wow- I had no idea! I wonder if this song's available on like Kazaa or something.
i was just reading elsewhere that this song was included amongst the "Filthy Fifteen:" a list assembled by the PMRC, who were demanding that the music industry adopt a system of ratings and censorship according to their personal moral standards. They claimed rock music was "infecting the youth of the world with messages they cannot handle." So then I looked up the lyrics to this song to see how filthy it really was. wow.
