yeah, the kyrics are really powerful and no matter how much i hear it i can never get enough but it's the same with the whole album. i can't get enough and i haven't heard one of their songs that i haven't been able to relate to. what i'm saying is TOO MUCH STAIND IS NEVER ENOUGH
Well explained roni....... I think this song is how he's far away from his loved ones and he just thinks of them when he's sad, therefore going into his "warm safe place". Once I heard this song I listened to it for an hour straight and I'm still not sick of it. This is a great song.

That line always gets me.
It was written for his wife..."Married to you and this road" This road signifies touring for his band i think the rest is quite obvious, she's his warm safe place.
This is a very beautiful song done by Staind. Break the Cycle is truly an amazing album. I have listened to that CD so many times that it hardly plays anymore on my CD player.
This song is a reflection about the need of somebody: a deep urge of being in that warm safe place, that gives us so much peace, and makes us feel the warmth and cozyness of an embrace...
It's about feeling incomplete and restless while you're away from the person you most love, and need desperatly. It's also about not believing that you'd ever feel this way about someone, and need a person and a hug so bad, to make you escape from our sordid and cold world...
