Your Thought Lyrics
You try to answer slow
You put your head down low
C'mon take your time
Try to choose the most believable lie
You try to walk away
And tell me everything's okay
You think your saved by words
But you're drowning in the absurd
But to me it's no big surprise
You thought I never saw your eyes
Departed with a smile
Just like walking down the aisle
You shook the preacher's hand
But your smile can't hide your sin
Your eyes tell me what you feel
Your eyes tell me what is real
Nobody's perfect is your prediction
Your life is proving your conviction!
To me it's no big surprise
I saw the emptiness in your eyes
You put your head down low
C'mon take your time
Try to choose the most believable lie
You try to walk away
And tell me everything's okay
You think your saved by words
But you're drowning in the absurd
But to me it's no big surprise
You thought I never saw your eyes
Departed with a smile
Just like walking down the aisle
You shook the preacher's hand
But your smile can't hide your sin
Your eyes tell me what you feel
Your eyes tell me what is real
Nobody's perfect is your prediction
Your life is proving your conviction!
To me it's no big surprise
I saw the emptiness in your eyes

I've never heard this song, where can i get it?
Great album. My favorite next to Hey You, I Love Your Soul. Being that your message, heatherplayer, is several years old, I don't know whether or not you've bought it by now, and/or if you'll come back to this page. But to anyone who isn't aware - This song is on their first self-titled album, "Skillet". It was first released in 1996 I think, and is still available. I bought it several years ago at a Christian bookstore. I think you can also find it at Amazon.com, or their official site's store: http://store.skillet.com/category.aspx?categoryID=1
I'm sure you can find the album elsewhere, e.g. some music stores on the web, if not a Christian bookstore like I did. I don't know if conventional music stores would sell it, as the Christian section is always sparse - but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
[correct me anyone, if I'm wrong].
This song is actually titled "You Thought" not "Your Thought". I'm sure that was just a typo, but in case anybody's wondering.
