Pleasant Lyrics
I was everything, and nothing
You were somebody, something
Please, underestimate me
I recognize your disease
Ingested you, digested you
I know, we can be each other's blessing
Good-bye, I'm taking a lesson
Your cry, echoes pleasant
Your cry is like music.
I'm everything, you're nothing
I'm somebody, you're something
Beautiful nemesis, we can't do this.
Ingested you, digested you
I know, we can be each other's blessing
Good-bye, I'm taking a lesson
Your cry is so pleasant
Don't die - your cry is like music.
You were somebody, something
Please, underestimate me
I recognize your disease
Good-bye, I'm taking a lesson
Your cry, echoes pleasant
Your cry is like music.
I'm somebody, you're something
Beautiful nemesis, we can't do this.
Good-bye, I'm taking a lesson
Your cry is so pleasant
Don't die - your cry is like music.

This song is like going through high school and then getting out into the real world.... being absolutely nothing other than just another face in school, perhaps even having this "nemesis" (perhaps someone who was popular and made fun of you, hypothetically speaking). Then getting out into the real world, and all of a sudden the tables are turned. This person who used to tease you is now the "just another face", and you've actually done something with your life ~don't die - your cry is like music~ that lyric alone is almost a taunt.
Really? cause every time I hear this it reminds me of immunology specifically the topic of phagocytes. Phagaocytes kill invading cells by ingesting (digesting) them and that is the only purpose in life for these cells. Without invading cells (nemesis), the phagocytes would have no purpose in life, hence "each other's blessing". Yeah I doubt that's the real meaning, but it just goes to show how your own interpretation tells the world a lot of what is on your own mind.
