Frankenstein's Monster Wants A Wife Lyrics
She's much too fresh.
Where did you get her?
No, don't confess for I must wed her
to my abomination son of man.
"Doc Frankenstein!"
Who said that?
"Won't you be mine?"
Now, cut that out!
I've got cuttin' to do.
I'm not finished with you.
No chit-chat till this is through.
It's no easy operation
to apprehend the apparition
to make the phantom corporeal,
substantial stuff for us to feel.
Scalpel please. Make incision.
Scissors! Oh, these quick decisions!
It takes a steady hand...
Curse my monster's sick demands!
How does she look?
Do the scars show?
She's all sewn up
with no place to go,
save on a hellish honeymoon
that ends all too soon in hell, well...
"Doc Frankenstein!"
Who said that?
"Won't you be mine?"
Baby, how you been?
Oh my, your hand's so cold.
But I'll be bold and hold it anyhow.
It's all so thrilling
when you're willing
to fudge and fake
to make a killing
Still I want to tear it apart!
Stop the beating of this hideous heart!
why do I abandon my endeavor to sever
to pick up the needle and sew it back together?
Oh, it's neverending, can't you see?
Just cut this hand off, it's offending me!
Once dead, but now...
It's alive!
It's alive!
Where did you get her?

to my abomination son of man.

i think it's talking about God personified as dr. frankenstein. though I dont think God ever said 'i want to tear this creating apart' (referring to us), however if God were human i'm sure he would have lost patience with us by now. good thing he has not!
Sure he did, flood anyone?
Sure he did, flood anyone?
lol... you obviously have not read the book
its more then obvious that the song is about dr frankenstein making a wife for his earlier creation... you would have to be retarded to not be able to see that
Well if you knew anything about Blaster, you'd know that all their songs have deep theological meanings. That was their way of spreading the Gospel.
i know there's a theological metaphor here, it's just more subtle than some of their other songs. maybe this song kind of relates humankind to dr. frankenstein, and our tendency to try and repair our sinful nature ourselves, to fix it so we can continue on in righteousness. however when we do that, the sin always calls back to us wanting to remarry us... that's not exactly it but i think it's going in the right direction.
