Siren Song Lyrics
cover your ears
disguise the sound
choose your course but don't turn around
the voice you hear will drag you in,
it will swallow you, don't let her in,
cover your ears
the hurt will end
but you musn't break
and you musn't bend
don't look back
it's all the same
you can't go back to that stupid game
the siren song
when you give up
and when you give in
you'll dash your heart against the rocks
close your heart,
close your eyes
before you fall to all these lies
it doesn't matter,
it will never change
this hated element still remains.
it still remains
cover your ears
disguise the sound
choose your course but don't turn around
the voice you hear will drag you in,
it will swallow you, don't let her in,
cover your ears
the hurt will end
but you musn't break
and you musn't bend
don't look back
it's all the same
you can't go back to that stupid game
the siren song
don't look back
you've got to be strong
you cannot listen to the siren's song
the siren song
disguise the sound
choose your course but don't turn around
the voice you hear will drag you in,
it will swallow you, don't let her in,
cover your ears
the hurt will end
but you musn't break
and you musn't bend
don't look back
it's all the same
you can't go back to that stupid game
and when you give in
you'll dash your heart against the rocks
close your eyes

Reminds me of a similar song by Nightwish (The Siren) that creates the same image.
This song is about Odyessus' aventure with the Sirens. Homer said that when their song is heard, it lured mariners to their destruction on the rocks surrounding their island. Sirens are creatures with the head of a female and the body of a bird.
Close but no cigar, women's head with bird bodies are harpies. Siren's are best portrayed as winged maidens, though the word for mermaid in many languages is similar to siren, and so they've been portrayed as such in confusion.
