I think Rogue is comparing Prometheus to Christ.
There are a tremendous lot of similarities between Prometheus and Christ. If you wanted to you could see them as two different incarnations of the same "type". Rougue is simply making that clear. This song is also a slightly different take on Prometheus than what I'm used to, it emphasises his heroic and defiant qualities. I rather like it.
