I'm not positive on the meaning. Religious stigmata are marks on a believer identical to Jesus Christ (hands, feet, etc.). Overall I understand what might be a closer meaning to Christ? I'm not positive. I've seen these guys once and will see them again next month in Towson. I can't really see them as a religous band.

There are two meanings for "spiritus" in Byzantine Greek orthography: "Siritus lenis" - Soft breathing "Spiritus asper" - Rough breathing.

I'm lost. Any opinoins?

"Spiritus sanctus" means "holy spirit" in Latin. Not sure about the meaning, though I'm guessing it isn't that obscure, especially if you can refer to the Bible well.

stigmata isnt just religious marks. it can also mean scars, birthmarks or a mark burned into the skin
