Invisible Lyrics

I will live, I will live
Maybe for a year or two, maybe for a year
I will die, I will die, I can rest secure in that
I am awful sure that this thing ain't no accident
And I just can't believe that AIDS is just some act of God
I will reach for you, I will reach my hand
No one will reach for me, no one will touch my skin
Yes I will accept, I will accept my pain
I don't deserve to die like this, no one deserves to die like this
Sometimes I get so mad I just want to break the world
I will not be denied, I will not be ignored
I'm not invisible anymore
I will not be denied, I will not be ignored
I'm real, I won't go away
I am not invisible anymore
Sometimes I get so mad I just want to break the world

I think this song is about a tortured man who has some disease (I'm guessing AIDS?) who has had enough of being ignored and feared by his pears because of his disease. Very powerful stuff, pretty in tact with whole message of this album: "I refuse to be ignored or forgotten."

I don't think it neccassirly means he is diseased. He's just plain ignored by everyone. I know I was for most of my life (until recently) so I can really relate to this song. (but then again, I can relate to just about every one of Art's songs, maybe that's why they're so great).

Yeah, it seems nobody has yet noticed that my last post was full of tripe. You fail my test. yes the song is (obviosly) about a person who has contracted AIDS. Sad stuff. But thats what ADULTERY will do to you..... (Am i gonna get yelled at now?)
