Shopping Cart Rally Lyrics
Clean-up in aisle four
Guess who spilled the mayonnaise
but you can't spill mayonnaise baby
My friend Will is shot
I'm just running circles
I'm just running circles baby
I'm a lost soul
Running around
In a shopping cart rally
Searching high and low looking in the freezer
For phish food Ben and Jerry's
Oh my god
Look at me
I'm just running circles
I'm just running circles baby
Looking for a man
Where's the Orential?
I want chicken flavor baby
I'm a lost soul
Running around
In a shopping cart rally
Searching high and low looking in the freezer
For the phish food Ben and Jerry's
The following is a a public service announcement by Wreckinghorn

This is one my favorite bands!! They kick ASS! I just recently saw them.. can i just say WOW
I first heard this song when I was maybe 15 or 16, when I liked this music style a lot. Good Vermont band.
The song seems to work on 2 levels: The guy is working at a supermarket or some kind of store in a dead end job and he is therefore running around the store stocking, cleaning, etc. He is also running around, lost in life, directionless. The second part also seems a 2-leveler. It's stupid to literally "leave children unnattended in a shopping cart" because they might have a rally, which could be dangerous. Also, it's bad to be directionless in your life and to end up having the dead-end type jobs. Having society or your parents let you end up there is what the song also warns about.
