To me this song is about emotional pain, i think about losing someone. when she is crying and when it is raining, she stands in the rain to make it look like she isnt crying. "she stares into the wind" meaning she only goes into troubled life styles.
well it reminds me of someone i grown attatched to, but wasnt very wise to. sometimes i cry when i think of her because i am afraid of losing her.

to me this song is about a girl who found a guy cheating on her. the rain "cleansed what she found" and yet she stared into the wind and cried. also, she tries to hide what has happened, but she cant. i think she was really in love with that person. "though we try, he freedom falls again", she tries to live again, but is so hurt that she cant manage to live with that.
