Nintendo 89' Lyrics
Game over she said I got a new friend
and that's harder to face over the deep end
its harder to sense she wanted to go home
Game over she said are you receiving
the time that we spent has been deceiving
so were parting our ways with no regrets tonight
because I've been doing fine
so please don't leave me I've been feeling fine
so stop wasting all your time
don't deceive me I've been telling lies
because I've been doing fine
and if you don't believe me I've been feeling fine
so stop wasting all your time
so please don't leave me all nite
controlling 2 player situation
will surely result in hesitation
continuing lives and continuing tries
will surely resolve the situation
So game over she said the level needed for the time
and the place has been defeated
so don't blame its hard to believe it was love we had
because I've been doing fine
and that's harder to face over the deep end
its harder to sense she wanted to go home
the time that we spent has been deceiving
so were parting our ways with no regrets tonight
because I've been doing fine
so stop wasting all your time
don't deceive me I've been telling lies
because I've been doing fine
and if you don't believe me I've been feeling fine
so stop wasting all your time
so please don't leave me all nite
will surely result in hesitation
continuing lives and continuing tries
will surely resolve the situation
and the place has been defeated
so don't blame its hard to believe it was love we had
because I've been doing fine

oh, sweet. i'm the first lol this song brings back so many memories...girls AND video games. who would have thought that one applies to the other?
I love this song! This is the first Audio Karate song I ever heard and it definitely got me hooked on them.
I love this song so much it totally kicks ass. These plpz are my favorite punk band besides yellowcard! Hehe! luv it!:)
Luv the comparison of nintendo to realationships(spelling?). Very creative.
I wasn't around in 89'...or rather I was some kid not knowing anything, but I do remember my first video games, and this song kinda relates to that. Also it talks about breaking up...like lonesumpunk said, "who would have thought that this applies to one another"
hey yellowcardxchick, im soo in love with yellowcard! i saw u posting stuff on their songs also. who would have known we like both of these bands. although i have to disagree with you because these are my favorite bands. Pocket Lint (thats my band, we are on here so check us out), then Audio Karate, and THEN yellowcard! hehe
this is a great song, i love the beat, it just makes me happy.
This song kicksass..i first heard it a few weeks on MMUSA & i gotta see the video. I'd love to see them live*
I'm not into really into emo at all except for the Ataris, but when I heard this song, I couldn't believe an emo band was capable of a good song.
this song relates the stages of a relationship clashing with the development of life to a video game. it tells of how a girl was down. she needed help. and then there was salvation. the guy saved her in a sense. he made everything ok. they were in love. but now its not the same. the desire fromt he girl is no longer there. shes moved on. because now shes happy and doesnt need him anymore. he asks, then was this not love? was this a waste of time? and she says, no, it was love, because ive been doing fine. the love did its job, it brought happiness, but destroyed itself in the process. hmm, i believe ive seen this somewhere before....
